3月11日の東北関東大地震により、多くの被災者が出ております。被災地によっては、今後6か月、電気の供給が見込まれない地域もあります。緊急津波被害者支援プロジェクト第3弾の今回は、東日本大震災聴覚障害者救援宮城本部の要請を受け、主に聴覚障害を持った被害者の方々を対象に、ウインローダー様のご協力でソーラーランタンを1000個配給します。このプロジェクトは、日本元気塾・グローバル・アジェンダ・ゼミナールの有志メンバーが賛同し、力をあわせて寄付を集めます。
On 11 March 2011, Japan was struck by a devastating earthquake and tsunami. The death toll continues to rise and tens of thousands of people remain homeless without access to energy and lighting. This emergency project is providing much needed lights via solar powered lanterns to people in the most severely affected areas, especially for the hearing impaired. These lanterns are a simple and efficient solution that will greatly address both the lighting needs and the security of the devastated communities.

The hearing impaired have faced difficulties in pursuing their day to day activities, due to the lack of electricity and lights in the tsunami affected area.
Basic instructions on how to use the lanterns is on the box of each solar light, that was used to explain to the users.
