3月11日の東北関東大地震により、多くの被災者が出ております。特に聴覚障害者の方々は、補聴器が無くなったり、水につかって壊れたりした結果、避難生活が非常に困難になっています。この状況を鑑み、東日本大震災聴覚障害者救援宮城本部の要請を受け、聴覚障害を持った地震被害者の方々を対象に、太陽光で充電できる補聴器（ソーラー・イヤー）を100個（50人分）配給します。このプロジェクトはウインローダー様のご協力を受け、さらに、日本元気塾・グローバル・アジェンダ・ゼミナールの有志メンバーが賛同し、力をあわせて寄付を集めます。
On 11 March 2011, Japan was struck by a devastating earthquake and tsunami. The death toll continues to rise and tens of thousands of people remain homeless without access to energy and lighting. It is foreseen that power in some areas will not be restored for at least six months.
Many people lost their hearing aids in the earthquake and tsunami. This initiative will provide hearing impaired individuals with replacement hearing aids and solar chargers for rechargeable hearing aid batteries that typically need to be replaced on a weekly basis - a difficult situation in a location ravaged by natural disaster.
津波で多くの方が補聴器を無くしました。このプロジェクトは普通なら1週間ごとに電池を交換する必要がある補聴器の変わりに、太陽光で再充電できる補聴器セットを届けました。

宮城県聴覚障害者支援本部の方々が中心となって、補聴器をフィッティングする専門の方々の助けを借りました。
Fitting experts assisted the hearing impaired victims to properly adjust the hearing aid kits.
