Rechargeable NiMH 3 cell AA 3.6V pack, 1300 mAh capacity battery pack.

Easily replaceable with any 3 cell NiMH pack usingMolex plug #5264-N

Radio will still function when cranked with absent, faulty, or dead battery pack, but will cease to play when cranking stops. The radio will not be damaged under these conditions.
