The sOccket is a soccer ball containing an electric generator and battery, allowing it to store energy during play, which can later be connected to a lamp for a child to read or study by. The sOccket captures the energy from play to be re-used, in areas where 95% of people live without access to the electrical grid, and where current lighting methods like kerosene are harmful to health.
