Delivery lead time
If MGPs system is being installed outside Uttar Pradesh, India (for the time being) then we will need a few months to identify and recruit local staff for the operations.
Average product lifespan
The panels are guaranteed for 25 years, the LEDs will last 10 years, however the batteries are guaranteed for only 5 years, though we expect them to last several more years, taking into account battery replacement the system is good for 10 years.
  • With a minimum of 20 service-villages in a 25 km radius MGP will recruit and train a local cluster operator to oversee operations.

For each 40 house facility:

  • 2x 100w solar PV panels
  • 2x 75 amp/hr dry-cell batteries
  • 1x charge controller with built-in timer
  • 1 amp MCBs
  • Aluminum wire

For each customer:

  • 2x .8w LED modules (75 lumens)
  • 1x mobile phone charger
  • As this is a service MGP staff provide all aspects of the systems installation, management and tariff collection. After a community is engaged and demand / layout surveyed a village-level system can be installed in one day.
  • The system is fully automated and only required attention if the MCBs are triggered by system abuse. The panels need to be cleaned each week which is done during tariff collection.
Each facility component is covered by a manufacturers warranty.
