On 19 February, the famous mathematician and astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus celebrated his 544th birthday.
On the very same day this year - like its namesake - Kopernik also had a birthday and turned seven!
What began as a team of two in a home office is now an organisation of 80 people spread across 11 offices in Indonesia and Japan. We’ve come a long way on our journey to find what works in poverty reduction; from distributing life-changing technologies, to experimenting with new and innovative ideas to address common challenges people living in the last mile experience. In seven years, we have helped change lives for more than 400,000 people.
We’d like to say a huge ‘Kopernik thank you’ to you for accompanying us on this seven-year journey and we hope you’ll continue supporting us to make 2017 a year of even greater impact.
