Bairo Pite Hospital

We partnered with Bairo Pite Hospital to provide obstetric kits and solar lights for a network of midwives who currently deliver babies in low-resource settings.

Bairo Pite Hospital, located in the capital city of Dili, provides free healthcare services in its commitment to serve the people of Timor-Leste. The clinic provides education to the local population especially in areas of neonatal care and tuberculosis, trains midwives for remote communities, and provides an entry point for local students interested in medicine and nursing. Bairo Pite Clinic merged with the Hospital of Hope in 2012 to form Bairo Pite Hospital.
