JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently recruiting a highly talented, motivated, and creative graphic designer with motion graphic and video editing experience to support Kopernik’s communications team in designing compelling, high-quality graphics and videos, and other visual communication materials.
REQUIREMENTS
- Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or degree in a relevant discipline, with at least two years professional experience.
- Ability to produce digital, print and video communications materials in accordance with the brand styleguide.
- Experience with using multiple visualization software, platforms, and processes, including Microsoft Office Suite, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere.
- Ability to create high-quality content from a loose concept under tight deadlines.
- Ability to assist, lead when needed and collaborate in teams or individually.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with basic sound editing.
- Experience with filming.
- Positive attitude, hardworking, reliable, motivated, and passionate about social impact.
- Clear understanding of social entrepreneurship and innovations and experience working in development sector an advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop compelling, high-quality graphics and animated elements for videos, infographics, posters, and other visual communication materials.
- Use innovative design and motion to tell a visual story to be applied in different mediums and platforms.
- Create and maintain a smooth and effective system of operation for animation and editing, and consistently strive to improve the quality of videos using animation or graphics.
- Video editing and delivery utilizing Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or other video editing software.
- Ensure all materials are consistent with Kopernik’s brand styleguide.
