THE POSITION

Senior Finance Officer (SFO) will take charge of the financial health of Kopernik by administering accounting operations.

This position should be familiar with verification and payment, accounting system, audits, taxation, invoices, financial reports, budget preparations and internal control system. And demonstrates interest in managing accounting activities, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable. SFO should also have excellent organizational skills and be able to handle time-sensitive tasks. Ultimately, SFO is responsible for the day-to-day management of our financial transactions and procedures.

This position will be under-supervision of Associate Finance Director.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Kopernik Operations Manual and maintains financial accountability by establishing internal controls;
  • Perform financial data processing by applying accounting principles in data entries to Quickbooks for Kopernik. This includes: providing financial analysis and report as requested by management;
  • Oversee accounting daily operations that includes monitor account payables, account receivables, revenue and expenditure variance analysis; cash liquidity and manage invoice to client;
  • Maintain banking relations, plan and monitor cash flow requirements to ensure the smooth implementation of Kopernik operations;
  • Performed verification on any advance reconciliation and request for payment (including payroll, travel and fund advance request). This includes ensuring proper supporting documentation for all transactions and adequate filling system is maintained well;
  • Support day-to-day operations relating to Banking activities and fund transfers
  • Prepares and timely submission of company tax reports. Ensures all related payments are done timely, accurate and in accordance with the Indonesian taxation standards. Keeps abreast with all taxation issues;
  • Prepares annual budgeting and assists teams in managing and evaluating their financial performance;
  • Liaises with and assist auditing processes, both internal and external;
  • Provide training and mentoring on financial management for new staff;
  • Any other relevant tasks assigned by line manager

Expected remuneration for this position is Rp 8,000,000 to maximum Rp 15,000,000 (depending on the experience and qualification of the successful candidate) and other benefits.
