Richard's background as a mentor at a child development foundation and a private sector employee in laboratory and nursery settings has inspired his desire to participate in Kopernik's experiments to discover solutions for community development.
With a background in Agribusiness Management from Gadjah Mada University, Richard is passionate about developing local food resources on Timor Island and is eager to contribute to Kopernik's PANGAN Program. His previous experience as a child mentor at a Child Development Center in Kupang and an internship at an organic farming company in Yogyakarta reinforced his conviction that building food sovereignty is a strategic and effective way to uplift communities towards prosperity. Richard's hobbies are sports, specifically running and going to the gym regularly. His goal is to stay healthy so he can remain productive, travel, and enjoy life more.
