Kopernik is proud to partner with MAMPU (Empowering Indonesian Women for Poverty Reduction), a joint initiative of the Government of Australia and Government of Indonesia, on our Wonder Women Eastern Indonesia (WWEI) program.
The MAMPU Innovations Fund supports organisations contributing to the empowerment of women in Indonesia in original, creative and inventive ways, funding activities, services or products that improve the status of Indonesian women living in poverty.
Through a three-day social innovation workshop hosted by MAMPU in October 2014, Kopernik’s WWEI team developed three prototypes to strengthen our network of ‘wonder women’ clean energy micro-social-entrepreneurs in East and West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.
After the workshop, the team returned to Bali to set up a social innovation lab at Kopernik HQ, to develop and test these prototypes over the course of 2015.
Learn more about our work with MAMPU in the infographic below, and stay tuned to the Kopernik in Action blog to find out how we are testing and refining these prototypes.
