Toshi Nakamura honored as a Young Global Leader 2012

Kopernik Co-Founder and CEO Toshihiro Nakamura has been selected as a Young Global Leader (YGL) 2012 by the World Economic Forum.

Chosen from thousands of young leaders from every region of the world and from a myriad of disciplines by a selection committee chaired by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Toshi’s nomination was made in recognition of his record of professional accomplishments, commitment to society and potential to contribute to shaping the future of the world through inspiring leadership.

As an honoree, he has been invited to join The Forum of Young Global Leaders as an active member. His first engagement will be the YGL Annual Summit to be held from 14 to 18 April 2012 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where he will have the opportunity to build new exciting and cooperative relationships with this dynamic group of peers.

Toshi plans to be actively engaged in the YGL community. “I am very honored and humbled to be inducted into such a forward-thinking forum. It presents exciting opportunities for all of us to learn from our collective experiences and tackle world challenges in new and innovative ways,” Mr. Nakamura said.
