THE PROBLEM
Major shifts in the international development landscape have created new opportunities and options for aid agencies to disburse their funds more effectively. In response to the industry wide trend in broadening the range of solutions and partnership for development aid, a bilateral aid agency sought to design its innovation fund to ensure their funds would benefit those who needed the funds the most in the most efficient way.
THE SOLUTION
Kopernik analyzed a number of the agency’s program implementation in Indonesia and therefore gained a deep understanding on how the innovation fund works in an operational level. By analysing the program activities, framework, and impact, Kopernik played a key role in designing the innovation fund's operational processes.
THE PROJECT RESULT
The agency has undergone a design phase and refining its details of the Innovation Fund based on the blueprint that Kopernik helped developed.
