THE PARTNERSHIP
PUSPADI Bali believes people with disabilities should be empowered to live out their dreams and reach their full potential. They are the only NGO in Bali providing high quality mobility aids, education and training and advocacy programs to people with physical disabilities in Bali and East Indonesia. Kopernik has worked with PUSPADI Bali on a series of projects connecting water filters with the families and individuals within PUSPADI Bali's vast network of people living with various disabilities in East Bali, Indonesia.
In 2017, PUSPADI Bali and Kopernik were awarded a grant through the Australian Government's Disability Initiative Grant to provide water filters to a vasrt number of people within PUSPADI Bali's network. The people who received the water filters through this project rely on mobility aids such as a wheelchairs or prosthetics to move around, so easy access to drinking water is imperative.
