How we recruit:

We have a rigorous recruitment process. We want to hire the best talent and that means making sure that every hire will be the right fit for the organisation.

This means a multiple stage recruitment process starting with a one minute video. No video, no interview. If you are short-listed, you will have a written test and will have multiple interviews with different team members, and if you get through to the final stage, you will have an interview with our co-founder and COO.

Multimedia Designer Fellow

We are currently recruiting a highly talented, motivated, creative designer to support Kopernik’s communications team in crafting communications materials that share our message more effectively, with an emphasis on visualising data.

Product Development Intern

Kopernik’s Solutions Lab is our dedicated team focusing on rapid experimentation of promising solutions. At the Solutions Lab we test innovative technologies that have the potential to improve the lives of those in the last mile. The technologies may be physical or Information Communication Technologies (ICT).  We also test various behavioral insights which have the potential to solve long-standing problems in a very cost effective way.
 
The Product Development Intern will work with the Solutions Lab team to assist in the implementation of our 'Increasing the Value of Plastic Waste: Injection Machine' experimentation project. We will build an injection machine in partnership with Precious Plastic Bali to investigate whether we can produce a low-cost processing solution, increasing the value of plastic waste for individual waste collectors and small-scale waste banks. We want to produce a valuable product from plastic waste which can be sold at a higher price than the raw plastic waste itself, increasing the waste collector's income and incentivizing the collection and processing of plastic waste to protect the environtment.

The person must have sound judgement and analytical skills and the capacity to act quickly and undertake a wide range of responsibilities related to the Disaster Response efforts.

Advocacy Officer

The Advocacy Officer will be responsible to advance government, private sector, multilateral and international institutions to support Kopernik in advocating women’s economic empowerment through energy access in Indonesia as a key component of achieving the Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) goals. 

Advocacy & Campaign Officer

The Advocacy & Campaign Officer will be responsible to lead Kopernik’s public advocacy campaign activities in advocating women’s economic empowerment through energy access in Indonesia as a key component of achieving the Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) goals. The person will support the advocacy and Wonder Women (women’s economic empowerment program) teams, working to engage and excite target audiences, crafting compelling stories and social media posts as well as designing communications and advocacy materials to ensure campaign activities are executed to schedule.
