Local Partner
CleanBirth.org

We partner with CleanBirth.org to prevent needless deaths of mothers and babies in Laos, where maternal and infant mortality rates are among the highest in the world.

CleanBirth.org works to prevent the needless deaths of mothers and babies in Laos.  In the villages where they operate, women give birth alone without clean supplies.  To make birth safer, CleanBirth.org partners with a local Lao non-profit to train nurses to distribute AYZH's Janma Clean Birth Kits.  Nurses then train a volunteer from each village to distribute and track the kits and educate mothers in their use.
