After 12 years of experience in the NGO sector focusing on disaster risk reduction, Dewi currently is a program manager for Mount Agung Relief, a relief effort for those affected by Mount Agung's increased volcanic activity in recent months.
Prior to Kopernik, she worked as a manager of a disaster risk reduction initiative and the coordinator of the Indonesia Response Team (IRT), which is an emergency capacity building (ECB) initiative in Indonesia bringing together peer agencies in streamlining and coordinating emergency responses. In her previous post, she has been deployed on emergency response assignments for earthquakes, flooding, landslides in Indonesia as well as Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines in 2013 and the Nepal Earthquake in 2015. During her spare time, she enjoys travelling and cooking.
