Analyst

As an Analyst for the Community Partnership Team, Doan seeks to broaden his experience in engaging communities and bring positive impact to people living in the last mile.

Eager to engage with communities in the last mile, Doan spent a year working as an elementary school teacher and facilitator in Asinua village, Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi. In a remote village far from electricity and telecommunication networks, he lived among the indigenous people and studied their customs, traditions, and language. Prior to Kopernik, this Toba Bataknese descent worked at a government agency working to develop tourism in his hometown near Lake Toba and was responsible for reaching communities in the implementation of policies. Despite his science background, he has a great interest in social studies. As an Analyst for the Community Partnership Team, he brings his passion to give positive impact to local communities in Indonesia and enthusiasm for new experiences. In his spare time, he loves to climb mountains and engage in interesting discussions on public policy, politics, and philosophy.
