With experience in design research within the development sector, Sania bridge theory and practice to bring them to the real life as an Analyst with the Solutions Lab team.
Sania believes that a good design will improve lives. This believe resulted in her interdisciplinary study background with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design and a master’s degree Sustainable Development. As an Analyst with the Solutions Lab team, she drives with curiosity to understand challenges and come up with possible solutions to achieve the desired outcome. Prior to Kopernik, Sania conducted a research on the usability of a TLUD biomass stove in Kenya with ICRAF, led a group of design-geek scientists in creating brand identities for iGEM Uppsala 2017 Team, and worked as a home ware designer in Jenggala. Environmental issues and comic books are two of her interests which led her to become a finalist in the UNICEF’s Climate Comic Contest in 2017.
